Lovely stay

We booked Winemakers Hut along with Johnson Lodge for a 2 night stay. Winemakers Hutt was was beautifully appointed, nice & clean and the host Maryanne was very friendly & accommodating.

One of SA's best kept secrets

What an absolutely stunning experience staying at Johnson Lodge! My partner and I began our newly wed journey at this perfect home away from home. Greeted with open arms Mary-Anne and Chris were the best hosts! Great communication and genuine warmth, we could not have asked for a better place to land.

I feel as if we have stumbled across one of SA's best kept secrets!

Immaculately presented, high quality amenities, private, with a very high standard of cleanliness. This accommodation is perfect for any weather! Even though our outdoor family lunch plans were thwarted by the hills winter weather - that didn't stop us from sharing warm moments by the two amazing fires indoors! The only time we noticed a heavy downpour was when we looked across the valley - perfection!

A very special space to share unforgettable moments with our family. Sam and I highly recommend staying at Johnson Lodge! We will definitely stay again!!

Amazing property

An amazing stay at an amazing property. Hosts are friendly and communicative. The house is incredibly well designed and appointed and every small detail has been thought of. An incredibly tranquil experience that I could not recommend more highly to anyone wanting to switch off and unwind.
