Shaw + Smith was established in 1989 by cousins Michael Hill Smith MW and Martin Shaw. They make wines exclusively from the Adelaide Hills, from varieties that suit the cooler climate: Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. Shaw + Smith own two vineyards, in Lenswood and Balhannah.

The Lane Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills first planted vines in 1993. Sitting 450m high atop the rolling hills adjacent the Onkaparinga Valley, the vineyards enjoy the warm days and cool nights that the Adelaide Hills Wine Region is so famous for. In addition to the vineyards and wines, the Lane estate is home to an acclaimed contemporary restaurant and tasting room.

Welcoming and elegant, the Somerled Cellar Door is owned and run by the Moody family in Hahndorf Main St, showcasing a high end range of wines. A long convivial marble bar, a roaring fireplace in winter and leafy courtyards in summer. Ever-changing tasting flights as well as wines by the glass or bottle to share. Somerled source grapes for their Chardonnay from GK Vineyard which is co-located with Johnson Lodge.

The family behind Ambleside have created an authentic local Australian distillery that celebrates some of the finest botanicals our country has to offer. Visit the distillery located in Hahndorf, and their Tasting Bar which has a large timber deck overlooking the picturesque Adelaide Hills. Indulge in a Tasting Flight, share a platter, enjoy a G&T or a cocktail or two.

Hahndorf Hills is a boutique vineyard located at the edge of the historic, German-heritage village of Hahndorf. They specialise in delicious Austrian-varietal wines and other cool-climate classics in the beautiful Adelaide Hills wine region.
